After years of travelling the world and living across the oceans, I’ve settled in Grande Prairie. I was born in the Peace Country, Fairview to be exact, and I adore our little piece of the world. The long summer days, the snowy winters and the close knit communities are my favourite things.

In the summer of 2024, I found myself on an epic adventure, driving the Dempster Highway with my parents in a motorhome. We passed through Whitehorse and ended up wandering into Cultured Fine Cheese. My Mom and I had a great experience in the shop. The knowledgeable cheesemonger lead us to buying a blue Stilton, a caramelized onion cheddar and a blue berry infused cheese. I thought to myself…now, this is something my small city needs! Grande Prairie needs a quaint destination, a delightful shopping experience and access to unique, delicious cheese.
